A little poker!

Ok so I am still being really bad at updating this.

At the moment I have no internet at home. We are currently changing our account over but I am hoping all will back up and running tomorrow. I haven’t really played any online poker over the last week. Just one session and that was only to see if Hold’em manager was working after I downloaded it to get the 15 day trail. So much for using that with no internet! Even then the HUD wasn’t working. I guess I should read more about it and then get it sorted properly.

I did play live last week at the Royal Surrey in Morden. A 30 F/o which only managed a couple of tables. No joy there. I slowed played trip aces on the flop bet the turn and paid of a small reraise on the river after a guy made a wheel. He called with a gut shot and flush draw. That put me in shoving range when we hit the final 10 which I duly did after a limper with Ace 7 o/s. I got called by one donkey in the BB who was just awful and also the limper. BB also had A7 and the limper called of half his stack with 89 o/s and hit an 8 on the river for the pot!!

Then I played 1/2 pot limit short handed for a bit and managed to lose £100. Maybe it was bad kama after I won a pot when a guy folded the best hand on the river after I had shown. The board end up paired with 3 diamonds. We were playing shorted handed and all the money went in on the turn when the 3rd diamond hit but also paired the board. I had a flush and showed on the river and he mucked a full house. He only said this after he realised after another hand or two. So there was no way to verify and no way to get the cash back from me!! Oh well.

No poker this weekend as I am off up to my sisters to see my new baby niece J
